Auckland the city of sails

The Auckland metropolitan is in north island of New Zealand. It has the largest Polynesian population in the world. Auckland has a warm temperature climate with warm, humid summer and mild damp winter. Auckland is also known as the “City of Sails”, as there is maximum number of Yachts, which generated more per capital income than any other city in the world, with around 135, 000 yachts and launches.
 Let’s have a look at some of the chief sights which you must not miss to visit on your Auckland trip 

Take to the Sky
Sky tower is the tallest tower in Auckland and you can view up to 80 km in all directions. It is 328 meters high, which host the collection of restaurants, bars and Cafes, two hotel and SKYCITY casino. The Sky Jump and Skywalk will really pump your heart with Blood. Skywalk takes you onto 1.2 meter wide steel around the perimeter, 192 meters above the ground. You will be secured harassed as you are attached to wire over head, for safety reason but this dizzying height  will have your heart into your mouth. Sky jump can be compare to BASE jump with the wire attached to you.

Spending some time on water
Attractive sea beach provides the perfect picture for ferry rides, go on a dinner cruise or you can take a jet boat, which will provide you a true pleasure on Auckland Beaches. Whale and Dolphin watching cruises run regularly and will guide you the location where you see them, really exhilarating is it? Tariton’s Sea Aquarium is the important things to see.

Auckland Zoo
Some distance from Auckland CBD is Auckland Zoo which is 17 hectare of parkland and is the home of biggest collection of exotic and native animal in Zealand. Twenty percentage of the total space is reserved for unique animals, plants, and culture of New Zealand. Visitors can see a range of rare endanger species, bird, and animal.

Visit the Viaduct
Have a meal in one of the ward winning restaurant, check out for Maxi yachts which are one of the largest in Southern Hemisphere, visit the Voyager maritime Museum. Learn about the Zealand Marine history or simply take a walk on beaches and soak up the atmosphere. The Viaduct is ionic part of Auckland culture and one should always come when visiting Zealand.

Visit to the local art
If you are the art lover, visit recently renovated Auckland Art Gallery Houses which have more than 15000 artworks and regulars host touring exhibits. The gallery has major holding of modern, historic, and contemporary arts by New Zealanders along with many International sculptures, painting and prints. Entry is free along with tour guide. The Gallery cafes serve the range of a-la-Carte dishes along with many readymade meals.
